THE NEXT CONSIGNMENT SALE DATE IS:
March 28 and 29, 2008 is the next Twice Blessed
Consignment Sale. Volunteers helping four hours or more
can shop the pre-sale on March 27.
Do You Have $$$ In Your Closets?
It’s that time of year again. Time to clean out old
clothes, toys, games, strollers, sports equipment and
maternity items and get your home organized. Consider
using The Shepherd’s Flock ELC Twice Blessed
Consignment Sale as a convenient way to get rid of
those items you no longer need and make some money for
yourself at the same time! Also, for people looking for
recycled items in good condition but at better than new
prices, it’s one-stop shopping at its best. This will be
the 7th year that the Shepherd’s Flock ELC has put on a
Consignment Sale for items relating to children … from
toys to clothing to maternity items to furniture …
anything imaginable can show up at the sale!
The actual Twice-Blessed Consignment Sale will be
Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29 of 2008.
Mark your calendars … start saving wire hangers and
safety pins … clean out those drawers and closets and
attics … start telling everyone with whom you come in
contact about The Twice Blessed Consignment Sale at
Shepherd of the Valley! It’s great for buyers and
sellers, and it’s a huge benefit for our school and our
children!
How Do I Participate?
Selling and shopping is open to the
public; no affiliation with Shepherd’s flock ELC is
necessary. To participate as a seller at our Consignment
Sale, you must purchase a Consignment Seller Packet …
Packets go on sale January 14, 2008! Stop by
the church office during business hours (8:30-4:30) to
purchase one. The cost of the
packet is $5.00 to defray the cost of printing. The packet will outline
easy, step-by-step instructions for getting ready for
the sale and provide all the materials you will need.
You determine the price of your items … sellers receive
70% of their sale price and the school gets 30% for
doing all the advertising and set-up and work. Not a bad
deal.
Be A Volunteer And Shop The Pre-Sale!
There is a big incentive to volunteer
(you don’t need to be an ELC parent) … volunteers who
work a minimum of four hours (any combination of
WHOLE hours
throughout the sale dates) will be allowed to shop the
pre-sale prior to opening to the public (and get the
choice items from the sale before they are
picked-over!). The Pre-Sale is held on Thursday, March
27th. Being a volunteer is easy and fun! We need help
making phone calls, handing out brochures, setting up,
cashiers, taggers, floaters during the sale, take-down,
greeters, check-out assistants, etc. For more

To volunteer, simply fill out a
Volunteer Sign-Up Form
(you can print one off), and mail it or drop it off at
the Church Office. Or, come in and pick up a Twice Blessed brochure
from one of our ELC Parent Information Tables … it
includes more detailed information and a
Volunteer Sign-Up Form
with dates and times for which you can sign up.
