Worship Services and Styles
Shepherd of the
Valley Lutheran Church has a variety of worship services and
styles
to proclaim the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to
all people. They are:

Traditional
Service – Held at 8:00 am on Sunday morning. In this
service, liturgical traditions and hymns are blended with
some familiar southern gospel favorites as well as a few
contemporary songs. |

Contemporary
Praise Service – Held at 10:30 am on Sunday morning, this
is our contemporary worship service led by the praise team.
This service is filled with popular praise and worship songs
and follows a more free-flowing style of service. |

“Come As You
Are” Service – Held on Saturday nights at 5:00 pm, is a
very relaxed traditional service where the people “come as
they are.” In this service, liturgical traditions and hymns
are blended with some familiar southern gospel favorites as
well as a few contemporary songs. |

Youth On FIRE
– Held once a quarter on a Sunday evening at 6:00p.m, this contemporary
service is led by Chosen, our youth band. This worship
gathering is for all high school aged youth. This service is
filled with popular praise and worship songs and follows a
more free-flowing style of service. |
