Finding the right preschool or kindergarten for your child is important. Parents can add their child’s name to our Waiting List at any time without a holding fee, and there’s no obligation to enroll. Being on the list does not mean you are enrolled; it means you are waiting to be called when it’s registration time, which takes place in January for the school year that begins that September. The January phone call will tell you what spots are available and offer dates and times for group parent tours.
Being on the Waiting List does not guarantee enrollment. Registration begins with the families that are currently enrolled in the ELC. We then contact everyone on the Waiting List to discuss what openings are available. The earlier you put your child on the list the better.
If a preschool or kindergarten spot is unavailable at registration, you may ask to remain on the Waiting List. The Waiting List remains current through the school year. Someone can be called from the list as late as spring or summer for that school year. Last minute openings often occur.
